Save the date for our annual GPR summer picnic. More info coming soon.
Due to the lingering concerns for the Covid-19 virus, the GPR board has made the decision to postpone our annual picnic scheduled for July 19 at Walnut Grove Park. We hope to announce a September date in the near future. We are working with the City of Omaha Parks and Recreation office to see if we can confirm a new date. We are disappointed that we continue to be in a cautious posture concerning social events. It’s important to all of us that we put the health and safety of our members above anything else.
There is a possibility that we will put together a fun run to replace the July 19 picnic. As soon as we have information to share we will let you know. We are comfortable with a fun run because people will be in their own car and personal contact would be limited. Stayed tuned: you will be the first to know!
