Food Bank Item of the Month for December is Canned Soup

The Food Bank for the Heartland Item of the Month for December is canned soup. Please place your items in the designated Food Bank box at the breakfast gathering. On November 4, 2021, the Food Bank for the Heartland celebrated its 40th anniversary. Start- ed in 1981 at a warehouse at 50th and Hamilton in Omaha, the Food Bank distributed 38,800 pounds of food through 21 partners in its first year. Their network has since grown to 589 partners and they provided more than 44 mil- lion pounds of food
